How to Update & Install Drivers for ASUS K42f Webcam On Windows
To install ASUS K42F webcam drivers on Windows 7 or Windows 8 version computer, you can easily download the latest drivers from the ASUS official website for free. Here are a few steps that will help you update and install the derivers on your computer.

Run ASUS Drivers Update Utility
- Click on the ASUS Drivers Utility
- Click on ‘Start Scan’. This will run a scan to detect the outdated drivers available on your computer and will also notify you of the latest available drivers.
Download the latest drivers
Once the drivers update utility scan is completed, the window will automatically move ‘step 2’. In this window the results of the latest available updates will be displayed. For downloading and installing the latest updates –
- Click on the check box available on the left of update and then click ‘Download’ available on the right of the update.
- If there are multiple updates available, then all you need to do is check the ‘Check/Uncheck All’ box available at the bottom of the screen.
You can choose these options as per your convenience and preference. You can either choose to manually download every update by clicking the ‘Download’ buttons, or else you can choose to ‘Check/Uncheck All’ for downloading all the updates automatically.
Installing the latest updates
As soon as you are done with the scan and download, the only job left for you will be to install the update. As the download is over, the window will automatically be redirected to ‘step 3’. Now, click on ‘Install’ button and wait for the installation process to complete.
Tip: Do not interrupt the process or turn off your PC while the downloading or installation is taking place.
However, you will definitely require restarting your computer as soon as the installation process gets over successfully. Restarting your computer will make your ASUS K42F webcam as good as new.
